At the event, Qualcomm also revealed various cellphone manufacturers who have committed to Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. In fact, one of them will be present at the end of 2022. So, which cellphones will use Snapdragon 8 Gen 2? Here they are!
Reported by Android Authority, Xiaomi is ready to become the first flagship HP manufacturer with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, the Xiaomi 13 series. This is evident from Xiaomi’s post (小米手机) on Chinese social media, Weibo, on November 16 yesterday.
In addition, various leaks state that the Xiaomi 13 Pro will carry a camera with Leica technology and a Sony IMX989 sensor, and the Xiaomi 13 will get an OLED screen with QHD + resolution. As for the release, the Xiaomi 13 series will most likely be released before 2022 ends.
2. OnePlus 11
OnePlus is also included in the HP lineup, which Qualcomm says will use Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. This was also confirmed by OnePlus’ post on Weibo on November 16.
While there has been no official announcement regarding release date and official features, various leaks are circulating regarding the OnePlus 11. Like the flagship Oppo Find X5, the OnePlus 11 will use Hasselblad tuning for its camera.

iQOO is included in the ranks of a manufacturer called Qualcomm which will present Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 on its flagship HP. Officially announcing its presence in Indonesia on Friday (18/11), iQOO announced that it would release iQOO 11 in the country.

4.Motorola Moto X40
Motorola doesn’t want to be left behind. With the announcement of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, Motorola also announced the arrival of the Moto X40, the next flagship with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, which was confirmed by GM of Lenovo’s China Mobile Division, Chen Jin.

5.Oppo Find X6
Oppo is the next HP company to use Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 on its flagship HP, the Find X series. According to its official post on Weibo on Monday (21/11), Oppo announced that the next Find X series, Find X6 and X6 Pro, will get Snapdragon 8 Gen 2.
According to leaks on Android Authority, Find X6 Pro will use an OLED screen with QHD + resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. Still with Hasselblad tuning, this cellphone also uses a 1-inch Sony IMX989 image sensor. GSMArena predicts the presence of the Find X6 series in early 2023.
6. ZTE nubia Red Magic 8 Pro
Next, ZTE wants to present a gaming phone powered by the latest version of the Qualcomm SoC. Announcing collaboration with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, ZTE is bringing this chipset to the next HP gaming, namely the ZTE nubia Red Magic 8 Pro.
Unfortunately, no details or leaks have been revealed regarding the Red Magic 8 Pro, other than that this cellphone uses the latest SoC from Qualcomm. Most likely, the announcement of the Red Magic 8 Pro will be in Q1 2023.
7. vivo X90
Not only iQOO, Vivo also wants to use the latest Qualcomm chipset to strengthen its flagship. After congratulating Qualcomm on the launch of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, vivo stated via Weibo that the next flagship, the X90 series, will be powered by the SoC.
Considering that the X80 is powered by MediaTek and the X80 Pro by Qualcomm, it is suspected that the X90 Pro will come with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. Vivo shows the X90 will come in 2 colors, black and red, with a synthetic leather HP back. The X90 camera is still supported by Zeiss and is rumored to be using the ISP V2 chip.

According to GSMArena, Samsung has yet to confirm whether the Galaxy S23 series will use the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset or its own Exynos 2300. While Samsung was disappointed with the Exynos, some of Samsung’s bigwigs still want to use it.
It has been proven on Geekbench, Qualcomm guarantees that the S23, S23+ and S23 Ultra will be powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 2.
